Malignant Hematologist - BMT at Fox Chase Cancer Center

Fox Chase Cancer Center is actively recruiting for a full-time Academic Bone Marrow Transplant / Malignant Hematologist to join our Bone Marrow Transplant Program which is nationally known and fully accredited by the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy. We are a comprehensive transplant center, offering autologous, allogeneic, haploidentical and Matched Unrelated Donor transplant services, and novel treatments including CAR-T immuno-therapies. Our goal is to identify a skilled clinician with experience and strong clinical skills in Bone Marrow Transplant, Hematologic disease management as well as clinical trial/research experience.

Qualifications:

• MD or Equivalent
• Board Certified
• PA Medical License preferred
• DEA License
• BMT Experience
• Clinical Trial Experience and/or Identified Hematologic Research Focus

Job Description:

• Functions as a leader of a multidisciplinary transplant team, working with many specialists to coordinate and optimize patient care
• Serves as member of the academic medical enterprise supporting patient care, research, and education
• Participates in the teaching opportunities that exist within BMT and the Hematology/Oncology Fellowship program
• Develops comprehensive treatment programs, places and refers patients to clinical trials
• Contributes to the literature through publications
• Pursues and secures grant funding as directed
• Performs administrative duties as assigned by Chair/Section Chief
