Fox Chase Cancer Center is actively recruiting for a full-time Academic Bone Marrow Transplant / Malignant Hematologist to join our Bone Marrow Transplant Program which is nationally known and fully accredited by the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy. We are a comprehensive transplant center, offering autologous, allogeneic, haploidentical, and Matched Unrelated Donor transplant services, and novel treatments including CAR-T immuno-therapies. Our goal is to identify a skilled clinician with experience and strong clinical skills in Bone Marrow Transplant, Hematologic disease management, as well as clinical trial/research experience.
Qualifications:
- MD or Equivalent
- Board Certified
- PA Medical License preferred
- DEA License
- BMT Experience
- Clinical Trial Experience and/or Identified Hematologic Research Focus
Job Description:
- Functions as a leader of a multidisciplinary transplant team, working with many specialists to coordinate and optimize patient care
- Serves as member of the academic medical enterprise supporting patient care, research, and education
- Participates in the teaching opportunities that exist within BMT and the Hematology/Oncology Fellowship program
- Develops comprehensive treatment programs, places and refers patients to clinical trials
- Contributes to the literature through publications
- Pursues and secures grant funding as directed
- Performs administrative duties as assigned by Chair/Section Chief
