Seeking a full-time, board-eligible/board-certified Pediatric Cardiologist to join a collaborative group in sun-drenched Eastern Washington. This immediate opening is for a Noninvasive Cardiologist to share all clinical responsibilities, including outpatient, inpatient and postoperative care. In this role, you will be part of an established practice at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center and Children's Hospital. This hospital has an accredited adult congenital heart disease program (Providence Adult and Teen Congenital Heart Program, PATCH). Sacred Heart Children's Hospital performs over 150 congenital cardiac operations a year with outcomes that consistently are better than the national average. Your primary clinical responsibilities will be at Sacred Heart Children's Hospital with some outreach clinic responsibilities. Spokane is fortunate to have a strong, hospital-based research department and two local medical schools, providing many opportunities for continued growth in clinical research and education. The echo lab at Sacred Heart performs over 7,500 studies annually, including more than 400 fetal studies, and has state-of-the-art equipment to provide 3D echo, ACHD studies, TEE and stress echos. This position requires expertise in TTE/TEE and fetal echo. An experienced physician is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.

This team consists of:

• 7 Cardiologists (4 with dual boards in pediatric cardiology and ACHD)

• 3 Non-invasive cardiologists (one based in Tri-cities)

• 2 Pediatric electrophysiologists

• 1 Non-invasive ACHD cardiologist

• 1 ACHD/Pediatric interventionalist

• 2 congenital cardiac surgeons

• 3 advanced practice providers (1ARNP, 2PA-C)

Providence Medical Group - Northeast Washington is a multi-specialty medical group serving Stevens, Ferry and Pend Oreille counties. More than 50 physicians and advanced-practice clinicians serve patients at four clinics in Colville, Chewelah and Kettle Falls, as well as at two Providence hospitals in Colville and Chewelah. In 1986, Providence Medical Group Colville developed the first rural residency track in the nation to provide training for family medicine residents interested in practicing in a rural setting.
