The Northwell Health Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine seeks a Soft Tissue/Bone pathologist to be a part of their Anatomic Pathology Service centrally located in Greenvale, NY. The Anatomic Pathology Service covers two major tertiary hospitals (North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center) along with a robust outreach program. Eligible candidates must be board certified in Anatomic Pathology by the American Board of Pathology (or equivalent) with diagnostic expertise in soft tissue/bone pathology, preferably with a completed fellowship in the sub-specialty field and 2-3 years of post-fellowship experience. A willingness to practice another sub-specialty service, preferably gynecologic pathology, head and neck pathology, or cytopathology is expected. A strong academic background with demonstrated academic accomplishments is also desirable.
