WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Psychiatrist to join our team and meet the growing demands for inpatient Behavioral Health services in Crawfordsville, Indiana. This is a full-time opportunity that will service patients with medication management and consult/therapy needs at our Franciscan Health Generations Geriatric Behavioral Health Crawfordsville .

Located at Franciscan Health Crawfordsville, Generations serves seniors 55 and older throughout Indiana and eastern Illinois who are expiring dementia, Alzheimer's disease or exhibiting inconsistent, disruptive, unpredictable or even suicidal behavior. This position will primarily be outpatient and assist when needed on the inpatient side.

WHAT WE NEED:

Ideal candidate will have a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and build long-lasting relationships with patients. Physician will need to work collaboratively to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

• Flexible Schedule: Monday - Friday
• Weekday, Weekend & Holiday Call: Will take own call
• Primarily older adult patient population
• Will provide cross coverage for inpatient geriatric psychiatrist as needed
  • Average inpatient volume: 7 - 10 patients per day
• Common Diagnoses:
  • Dementia
  • Dementia with Behavioral Disturbance
  • Depression
  • Delirium
  • Anxiety
