Attending Psychiatrist - Outpatient

In partnership with NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan our teams provide care for over 313,000 outpatient visits, nearly 70,000 emergency room visits and more than 13,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital maintains an academic affiliation with New York Medical College.

Metropolitan Hospital is currently looking for an Outpatient Attending Psychiatrist to join their team.

We are currently accepting applications and referrals for Psychiatrists to work in our Adult Outpatient Unit. This is a full-time position. The Adult Outpatient Services Program provides mental health services to adults over the age of eighteen, including assessment, treatment planning, individual, group and family counseling, case management, crisis intervention to reduce mental and emotional distress. Our mental health specialists provide adults with the support and skills needed to manage and recover from difficult emotional, addictive, and behavioral health issues.

Requirements

ABMS BC/BE in Psychiatry

NYS license in good standing
