Jennersville Hospital, due to extensive growth and community need, is seeking a 3rd Noninvasive Cardiologist to join Cardiology Associates of Jennersville, a well-established Cardiology practice in Chester County, serving its patients and community for many years. This Cardiology group utilizes EPIC EMR and has an excellent support staff. The complete Cardiology team consists of 3 Cardiologist, 1 CRNP, 1 RN and Medical Assistants.

Jennersville Hospital a non-profit facility, is a 63-bed acute care hospital located in West Grove, Pennsylvania. Jennersville Hospital is Tower Health is a 7-hospital health system spanning four counties in Southeast Pennsylvania from Philadelphia to Berks County with 100+ ambulatory practices, 20+ urgent care facilities and home-based care. Tower Health provides cutting edge healthcare services to a 2.5 million people. Its flagship Reading Hospital is the largest hospital between Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. Tower Health has partnered with Drexel University College of Medicine to establish a new four-year medical school in West Reading, PA, scheduled to open for the 2021-2022 academic year. In addition, Tower Health is starting a Cardiology Fellowship in the summer of 2020.

Drexel University and Tower Health have joined forces to add an additional location for the university's College of Medicine in West Reading, less than one mile from the Reading Hospital campus. This collaboration will bring undergraduate and graduate clinical education and research to a single campus. The new campus will be completed in time for the 2021-2022 academic year. When fully operational, the campus will train 200 medical school students. Most recently, Tower Health & Drexel University partnered to acquire St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia which adds the much-needed Pediatric acute care to the expanding health system. St. Christopher's provides care to more than 100,000 children annually.

Job Summary

The Noninvasive Cardiologist will join a full provider team of 3 Cardiologist and a Nurse Practitioner. The position encompasses a full scope of Cardiology responsibilities including inpatient rounding, reading Cardiology testing results and outpatient appointments.

Call is 1:4, shared with Brandywine Hospital. Cardiology Call is 10 days per month with 1 weekend per month. Outpatient hours of operation at 8AM - 5PM, Monday-Friday.

Qualifications

Requirements: MD or DO; BC Internal Medicine, BC/BE Cardiologist; new graduates coming out of a Cardiology Fellowship are encouraged to apply.
