JOB TITLE: Adult Critical Care Physician
LOCATION: Scranton, PA
DEPARTMENT: Critical Care
WORK TYPE: Full Time
Geisinger Community Medical Center (GCMC) is seeking a board certified/board eligible Critical Care physician to join our intensivist team at GCMC in Scranton, PA. Our established Intensivist Program includes a 18 bed ICU, eICU equipped, and incorporates an innovative provider model to ensure the highest level of patient care in our ICU.
• 100% Critical Care with 7 on/7 off schedule at this Level II trauma center
• Procedures include central line placement, arterial lines (upper & lower extremity), endotracheal intubation, chest tubes, thoracentesis, paracentesis, bronchoscopy, ultrasound and dialysis catheterization

GEISINGER-COMMUNITY MEDICAL CENTER (GCMC), Scranton, Pa., is an acute care hospital licensed for 297 beds and houses the only Level II Trauma Center in Lackawanna County and Scranton's only neurosurgery program and adult in-patient behavioral health unit. It is also home to comprehensive cardiovascular and orthopaedic services, as well as a broad range of other surgical and radiological services. The campus is affiliated with Geisinger-Mountain View Care Center, Scranton, Pa., a 180-bed long term care facility.
