Adventist Health Clear Lake is seeking a BC/BE mission-mindedGeneral Orthopedic Surgeon to join a newly established Orthopedic Surgery practice in Lake County, CA.

The ideal candidate needs to have a solid surgical background and candidates with experience are preferred as the provider will be solo to start. Shoulders and sports sub-specialties would be preferred but not required.

The incoming Orthopedic Surgeon will be supported by a team of reputable nurses and providers to assist in providing the best quality care for their patients as well as other local Adventist Health affiliated surgeons across the rest of our Northern, CA region. ED Call is required.

Candidates must be Board Certified or Eligible and meet Adventist Health Clear Lake's medical staff credentialing standards.

About the Medical Center

Adventist Health Clear Lake (AHCL) is a 25-bed Critical Access medical center in Clearlake, California, serving Lake County. Services include 24-hour emergency care, diagnostic imaging (MRI, CT mammography), home care, ICU, laboratory, maternity, physical rehabilitation, pulmonary rehabilitation, surgery, and three rural health medical offices that provide behavioral health, dental care, family medicine, OB/GYN, pediatrics, podiatryand specialty health care services.

In 2016, AHCL had1,663admissions, 170 deliveries,21,770 emergency visits and61,075 outpatient visits. The medical center is staffed by more than 40 physicians,417 employees and 51 volunteers.
