CHIEF OF MEDICINE & CRITICAL CARE
The Medicus Firm is conducting a national search for an outstanding clinician to serve as both Chief of the Department of Medicine and Chief of Pulmonary/Critical Care Service. In this role, the Chief will work closely with providers, nurses and leaders to advance the organizations Catholic health tradition of loving service and compassionate care to achieve the highest quality, innovative and coordinated care for the communities served.
The ideal candidate will be a servant leader who builds excellent clinical quality, creates increasing opportunities for collaboration and team-based care, and supports organizations pursuit of continuous improvement in outcomes, processes, and engagement to the ICU, step-down unit as well as across the Medicine Departments inpatient and consultative services. Key priorities include:
Drive continuous improvement, patient service & quality care
Implement the organizations value delivery system by creating and optimizing clinical protocols
Building a culture of excellence, accountability, continuous improvement and behaviors that reflect core values.
