Job Details
General Surgeon needed in Southern Illinois
- This position is available due to the resignation of two general surgeons at their facility.
- It will be employed by the medical group
- Full time position that will start with a 1:4 call rotation
- They plan to eventually bring this to a regional call group, which would make the call more like a 1:7.
- Simple bread & butter general surgery
- Minimally invasive skill sets would be a plus
- Surgeon will have some outreach responsibilities as well.
- Would need to go to at least one of their managed (critical access) hospitals.
- They will hold clinic and day of surgery at least once every other week.
- These sites are located about 30 minutes away
- Full benefits
- Salary will be in the $400,000 range, negotiable for someone with experience.
- Will offer signing payment and student loans
- Open to H1-B and J-1 Visa candidates
- Located 80 minutes from St. Louis
