Adventist Health St. Helena is seeking a Board Certified and experienced Occupational Medicine Physician to join our Northern California Network in the beautiful Napa Valley. This position will be part-time in an outpatient clinic, although the clinic is inside our St. Helena based hospital. Incoming provider must be able and willing to carry out medical director duties as well as supervise an advanced practice provider.

This JobCare clinic takes pride in providing excellent care for those working within our community. JobCare is fortunate to have an organized and loyal team of kind and helpful professionals. Clients come from the local community including wineries, vineyard management companies, resorts, restaurants, construction and retail. We have been providing occupational medicine services to our community since 1987 and have grown the program steadily throughout this time.

The medical directorship involves a combination of administrative and clinical activity, including supervision of our nurse practitioner, who has been with the program since 1995. Other clinical activities would include providing pre-placement physical exams for workers being hired into various occupations including police officers, firefighters, healthcare workers, winery and vineyard workers, etc.

Current nurse practitioner will be the primary provider and incoming physician will participate in these cases on an infrequent basis during busy times and when there is lapse in coverage, such as vacation.

Incoming provider must be personable and have the ability to network and know the surrounding areas.

Adventist Health St. Helena (AHSH) is a premier destination facility and the longest continually operating Seventh-day Adventist hospital, offering innovative wellness programs and other quality health care services in the Napa Valley region. AHSH includes 151 licensed hospital beds, 61 psychiatric beds at the Center for Behavioral Health in Vallejo and 14 rooms for residential wellness programs. Services include addiction treatment and behavioral health, regional Heart and Vascular Center, home care, maternity, occupational medicine, orthopedics, outpatient cancer center, sleep disorders center, surgery, 12 outpatient clinics and specialist offices and the St. Helena Center for Health.
