Memphis has historically served as a commercial and social center and is considered by many to be the true capital of the Mississippi River delta. The city's rich history includes eighteenth-century French and Spanish forts, riverboats, award winning barbecue, and is the "Home of the Blues" and "Birthplace of Rock 'n Roll." Although progressive, the area retains an unhurried approach to life and remains close to its musical and historical roots. Today, enjoy strolling through the historical Victorian village through tree lined streets and tour several beautiful historical homes and a variety of museums. Enjoy an eclectic assortment of dining establishments from 5-star to down home cooking styles, designer malls, and eclectic downtown shopping.

Boasting a high quality of life enhanced by a pleasant climate, top-notch schools, and abundant recreational opportunities. The city is home to two Universities, one of which is top notch in medicine and healthcare, and several 2 and 4 year colleges are scattered throughout the city including an art institute. The public school system serves the community from K-12 with special programs for the academically, artistically, or athletically inclined student. Also available are numerous private schools and academies focusing on college prep and academic excellence.

The ideal candidate will be energetic, hard working, possess excellent communication skills and BC/BE internal medicine and nephrology. J-1 visa candidates may be considered. Partnership track and a competitive salary are available for the right candidate.
