The Department of Psychiatry at Dartmouth-Hitchcock and the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth is seeking an academic Adult/Child Psychiatrist to join its faculty at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. This position will provide clinical consultations primarily in the outpatient clinic at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center where he or she will have an active teaching role with students, residents and fellows. This position will also cover the inpatient unit as needed. The successful applicant will work closely with various medicine teams and will collaborate with neurology faculty on the care of people with cognitive disorders. There are opportunities to become involved in research, including services research focused on development of innovative models for delivery of mental health care.

The ideal candidate will be a skilled clinician and enthusiastic teacher, with strong interest and experience in Adult/Child Psychiatry. Candidates should be board certified (or eligible) in Psychiatry. Academic rank at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and salary will be commensurate with experience.

Qualifications:
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Psychiatry
  • Must obtain and maintain a medical license in the State of NH
