WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal or Family Medicine physician to meet the growing demand of our new Hospitalist/Nocturnist program in Crown Point, IN at Franciscan Health Crown Point Hospital .

WHAT WE NEED

Ideal candidate will be interested in converting from part-time to a full-time employee, have a desire to work in a community hospital setting with a strong focus on clinical excellence. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Schedule:
  • Full-time: 5 on/ 5 off, 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.
• Average inpatient volume: 6 - 8 admissions per night
• Employer will support training and competency education, if needed
  • Lines and Intubation preferred
  • ACLS required
• Limited ICU Setting (All admissions require Pulmonary/Critical Care Consult)
• Observation unit
• No Rapid Response Team required
• Common Diagnoses:
  • Sepsis
  • Pneumonia
  • Renal Failure
  • Heart Failure
  • COPD
• Crown Point has:
  • Licensed Beds: 411
  • Operating Beds as of 10/17: 233
  • 16 ICU and 22 PCU beds (38 critical care beds)
