The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, MA seeks an accomplished academic cardiologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to be Director of Women’s Cardiovascular Health.
The successful applicant will demonstrate outstanding team collaboration, program-building, and leadership. A record of academic accomplishment in Women’s Cardiovascular Health is required and the Director will be tasked with growing the Center by both marshalling the talents of existing Brigham Health faculty and recruitment of new faculty. This position will also incorporate oversight of the Pollin Cardiovascular Wellness Program for Women, with opportunities to extend previous and ongoing BWH efforts in research and education in this arena, along with participation in the Pollin Network for Women’s Cardiovascular Health. Expertise in cardiovascular imaging and/or preventive cardiology is desired. The Director will also be involved in teaching and supervising medical students, residents, and cardiology fellows. Applicants must be board certified in Cardiovascular Diseases.
