PeaceHealth is seeking a General Surgeon based in the Bellingham community.

Join an established team of two highly respected, employed General Surgeons and five community General and Trauma Surgeons.
St. Joseph Medical Center is a 253-bed, Level II Trauma Center; Whatcom County's only hospital. PeaceHealth Medical Group (PHMG) is a physician-led group with over 1,200 medical practitioners in communities throughout Oregon, Washington and Alaska.
This is a high-volume practice with a broad range of procedures and settings. This position also provides for potential future outreach clinics to surrounding communities including: Peace Island Medical Center - San Juan Islands, WA, United General Medical Center; Sedro-Woolley, WA and PeaceHealth Ketchikan Medical Center; Ketchikan, AK. Potential call coverage responsibilities will include PeaceHealth's United General Medical Center, 30 minutes south of Bellingham.
Our ideal candidate will have 3-5 years in general surgery--including colon and rectal surgery; colorectal fellowship training preferred.
