EM Assistant Medical Director

Teamhealth has an excellent opportunity for a full-time experienced Assistant Medical Director to help lead our emergency medicine team at Coliseum Medical Center in Macon, Georgia. Our 17-bed ED has an annual patient volume of 54,000 and CMC provides 60 hours of physician coverage 36 hours of advanced practice clinician coverage daily. CMC is a Level II Trauma Center, has a patient admission rate of 18-20%, Meditech EMR, and a GME program starting August 2019. We ask that you be residency trained and or boarded in ABEM/AOBEM.

Coliseum Medical Center (CMC) is a 310-bed facility offering a 24-hour emergency room,inpatient and outpatient surgery, rehabilitation programs, behavioral health and diagnostic services. In addition, CMC's breadth of care options includes specialty facilities such as a Heart Institute, Robotics Institute, Cancer Institute, Diabetes Management Center, the Family Ties Birthing Center, which includes a level III neonatal nursery, and the Center for Behavioral Health, which provides treatment to adults with psychiatric and addiction issues. The services provided include inpatient and outpatient programs, as well as, a specialty program for senior adults.
