The Department of Neurology at Duke University Medical Center is seeking an additional Neurohospitalist for each of its three hospitals. Vascular Neurology fellowship training preferred, yet not required. All new hires are due to program growth, and new physicians will help expand inpatient and Stroke services at their respective facilities - all of which are located directly in highly-desired Raleigh-Durham, NC. Ability to also contribute with other subspecialty interests, including Telestroke, if so desired. Opportunities allow for an active clinical inpatient practice, along with some stroke follow-up clinic, while enjoying a strong academic connection with Duke University Hospital's 938-bed JCAHO Advanced Comprehensive Stroke Center. The two community hospital hires will each rotate 1:3 inpatient coverage for the Duke's long-standing, stellar General Neurology practices next door to the hospital. Duke University Medical Center's main campus hire will cover General Neurology inpatient shifts, plus participate in Telestroke and teaching responsibilities.
