Outpatient Family Medicine Opportunity

SSM Health Dean Medical Group, a 500+ physician multi-specialty group, is seeking a Family Physician to join its clinic in Edgerton. Additional details:

The Opportunity

• Outpatient only practice open from 8 am–5 pm; Monday-Friday; there is an obligation of extended hours per week per provider (either start early at 0700 or stay late until 5-6 pm).
• Work closely with experienced Family Medicine physicians and Advanced Practitioner, as well as dedicated Medical Assistants and administrative team.
• Clinic is less than 10 years old and offers a full range of services, including lab, x-ray and minor procedure rooms.
• Clinic is attached to Edgerton Hospital for easy access to ER as well as a wonderful cafeteria; picturesque healing gardens and pond in back of clinic; friendly staff
• Specialty outreach services are provided on site in Podiatry, Cardiology, OB/GYN, Urology, and General Surgery.
• System wide call is approximately 2 weekends per year (phone call) and several weekday evenings. Call is shared with over 50 Family Medicine providers within Wisconsin SSM/Dean system.
• We require 32 to 36 Patient Contact Hours over the course of the work week depending on template chosen.
• Two-year guaranteed salary plus lucrative signing/retention bonuses

• Edgerton Hospital and Health Services is an 18-bed Critical Access Hospital located right off of Interstate Highway 90
• ER is fully staffed 24/7
• Edgerton Hospital offers inpatient, outpatient, surgical, diagnostic and rehabilitation services.

• Edgerton is a delightful community of 6,000 that has easy access to both Madison (28 miles) and Janesville (12 miles) via Interstate.
• Edgerton offers its citizens a local performing arts center that hosts many local and touring events.
• Home to three local golf courses.
• Lake Koshkonong, Wisconsin's second largest inland lake, is located five miles from the city and offers boating, skiing, fishing, and many other recreational activities.
