Cleveland Clinic Children's is seeking a Pediatric Cardiologist to join the Cardiology Department in the Institute of Pediatrics. This position will focus on general pediatric cardiology including skills to read transthoracic echocardiograms. Duties will include staffing for regional outpatient clinics, inpatient night call and cardiology service at Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital. The candidate will read outpatient echocardiograms and cover the pediatric cardiology practice at Hillcrest Hospital, a Cleveland Clinic Hospital and outstanding regional facility with more than 3,500 deliveries a year and a level III NICU. The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background, a commitment to being accessible to consultants and strong interpersonal communication skills.

The successful candidate would join our team of 14 Pediatric Cardiologists and 2 Nurse Practitioners in a busy clinical and academic practice. An interest in teaching is desirable as Hillcrest and Cleveland Clinic are training facilities for Pediatric Residents. In addition the Pediatric Cardiology Department has an active Fellowship program. The Hillcrest Heart Center is housed within a new Cleveland Clinic Children's pediatric multi-specialty center which opened in the fall of 2016. Our Echo lab is ICAEL accredited and the Hillcrest campus is covered by main campus pediatric sonographers 24/7.

A faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with experience is available at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University. The Department deservedly enjoys an excellent national reputation for excellence in clinical care and patient outcomes with a world-class pediatric and congenital heart surgery team. Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Cardiology is required.
