This position is located in the Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Fort Gordon, Georgia.
Fort Gordon is approximately 139 miles east of Atlanta, GA; 80 miles southwest of Columbia, SC; 156 miles west of Charleston, SC; 175 miles southwest of Charlotte, NC; and 127 miles northwest of Savannah, Georgia. Fort Gordon's location is in the Augusta metropolitan area (also known as the Central Savannah River Area-CSRA) and is an easy drive to Atlanta, Savannah, Charleston, Charlotte, the beaches along the Atlantic Ocean, and the mountains.

Responsibilities
As a Project Engineer you will:
- Coordinate the planning and design for engineering projects of substantial scope and complexity.
- Control and manage project milestones and budgets from planning through construction and initial operations.
- Implement corporate decisions, guidance, laws, regulations, and policy in the development of the project and intermediate products in support of the project.
- Responsible for observing all safety rules, regulations, and directives applicable to the work assignment.
Qualifications
US Citizenship required
Bachelor's degree (or higher degree) in engineering
Current registration as an Engineer Intern (EI), Engineer in Training (EIT), or licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) by any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, or Puerto Rico
One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) reviewing, coordinating, and monitoring technical aspects of projects; 2) reviewing plans, specifications, and cost estimates for projects; 3) design and/or develop engineering projects involving areas such as construction, modification, alternation, building renovations, to assure that the structure or facility will be technically sound and meet user needs; 4) oversight of Military Construction Army (MCA) programming and execution, and appropriations processes.
