Non-Invasive Clinical Cardiologist Miami-Dade County

Amavita Health is a comprehensive cardiovascular practice affiliated with the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and the Jackson Memorial Hospital System in Miami-Dade County. The practice was started by Dr. Pedro Martinez-Clark who specializes in interventional cardiology-structural heart disease and peripheral vascular interventions. Dr. Martinez-Clark is also involved in medical innovation and has been involved with the development of several cardiovascular technologies and currently serves as the chief medical officer for the Miami based healthcare incubator Miami MedTech, LLC. The practice has four office locations and an ambulatory endovascular center for peripheral vascular disease procedures and has a total of five providers including two advanced nurse practitioners.

Amavita is currently recruiting a full-time cardiologist with expertise in cardiovascular imaging, excellent clinical and interpersonal skills. In addition to echocardiography and nuclear cardiology, the candidate should be comfortable and fully trained in trans-esophageal echocardiogram including 3D imaging. Expertise in vascular medicine and cardiac CT are a plus. Spanish would also be a plus. Board certification in cardiovascular medicine is a must. 

The position requires a combination of inpatient and outpatient mix of patients and offers a competitive compensation package.
