The University of New Mexico, Health Sciences Center, Department of Internal Medicine is seeking BC/BE Internal Medicine trained physicians to join our outpatient faculty group in beautiful Albuquerque, NM. UNM HSC is the only academic medical center and is the primary teaching hospital in New Mexico. We provide care for over 200,000 New Mexicans and is the only Level I trauma center in the state. Our outpatient community clinics are Level III NCQA recognized Patient Centered Medical Homes and serve a culturally rich and diverse community. Clinical sites are integrated with clinical pharmacists, behavioral health, and care management teams.

Minimum Requirements: a) MD or DO; b) BC or BE in General Internal Medicine by date of hire; and c) Must be eligible to work in US.

Desirable Qualifications: a) Experience in providing efficient general medical patients care including Prevention, Wellness, and Life Style Medicine; b) Experience in teaching residents and medical students; c) Interest in caring for underserved populations; and d) Experience in developing outpatient quality projects.
