BC/BE interventional cardiologist with structural heart training/experience

Novant Health Heart and Vascular Institute in the Greater Charlotte market of North Carolina is a large multispecialty Institute providing integrated inpatient and outpatient service line management of the cardiology and surgical cardiovascular patient. Due to system growth and expansion we are recruiting for a BC/BE interventional cardiologist with structural heart training/experience to join our team. This position will provide interventional and structural heart services mainly at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center Charlotte. Services offered at Presbyterian Medical Center include complex coronary interventions, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Transcatheter Mitral Valve repair with Mitraclip, Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion and PFO/ASD closure.

This position will benefit from:

• A high volume ambulatory practice with an established referral base and hospital presence
• An established and comprehensive structural heart program
• An established and supportive CV surgery program
• A favorable and balanced call schedule
• Eight weeks combined vacation and CME after attainment of supervisor MD status

The position will require high level skills including:

• Proficiency in coronary and structural heart interventions and ability to work with a multidisciplinary heart team
• Inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular consultative services with emphasis on coronary and structural heart disease management
