A hospital based in Iowa is looking for a general surgeon who can provide locum tenens coverage for approximately two and a half months beginning in early June with a possible extension. On a typical day, the locum tenens physician can expect to see patients for a variety of cases including C-sections and patient consults to the ER. The provider will be on 24 hour call from 6 a.m. to 6 a.m. (two patient contact hours included). This facility uses Meditech EHR and will provide EMR training.
