THE VA NORTHEAST OHIO HEALTHCARE SYSTEM IS SEEKING A CARDIOLOGIST

To join its expanding Cardiology Section in a thriving tertiary care academic environment. Currently, the Cleveland VA Medical Center and its 13 surrounding outpatient clinics provide advanced cardiovascular services to a growing veteran population across northeast Ohio, including preventive cardiology, interventional cardiology, advanced heart failure services, EP services, as well as LVAD and TAVR procedures. The qualified candidate will be board eligible or board certified in cardiology, will have experience in clinical or basic research, and will have demonstrated prior experience with teaching trainees at multiple levels. Candidates will be expected to provide clinical services in the outpatient clinics as well as rotate through the CICU and inpatient cardiology services. Experience in advanced heart failure is preferred. Qualified candidates will be offered an academic appointment through the CWRU School of Medicine commensurate with their level of training.
