The Phelps Family Medicine Residency Program in Sleepy Hollow, New York, is looking for a faculty member to join the team. Our program is a partnership between Phelps Hospital, Donald & Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, and Open Door Family Medical Centers, a renowned FQHC in the New York area.

Our faculty team teaches residents at the recently expanded, state-of-the-art Open Door PCMH in Sleepy Hollow. We are seeking a candidate who is interested in teaching as well as shaping all aspects of residency life including designing innovative curricula and programming, advising residents, and developing faculty locally and nationally. Faculty development is available for new graduates.

Our program started in 2011 and will have 8-9-5 residents in 2018-19. Our residency office is located at Phelps Hospital, a community hospital with 206 beds in Sleepy Hollow, NY, just a five-minute drive from the clinic site. Sleepy Hollow is located in Westchester County; a charming town with scenic surroundings located just under an hour north of New York City.

Salary Disclosure

Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity. The base compensation range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
