The Department of Radiation Oncology at Duke University is seeking a clinically oriented and either board-certified or board-eligible Radiation Oncologist for the management of patients within our Duke Cancer Center Wake County program.
Duke Radiation Oncology in Wake County offers patients cutting-edge radiation therapy at three locations in Raleigh and Cary. Special procedures include SBRT, IMRT/IGRT, and SRS. The Duke Cancer Center facilities have TrueBeam machines with OBI/CBCT for IGRT and gated treatment, as well as TrueBeam STX for SBRT and SRS. Each facility has CT simulation facilities with MR and PET/CT available at Duke Cancer Center Raleigh. There is one HDR unit, a networked ARIA information system, and Eclipse treatment planning systems. HDR brachytherapy services will be available in late 2019 at the Duke Women's Cancer Care Raleigh location.
The department seeks a highly motivated individual to develop his/her professional career within Duke University Radiation Oncology and the Duke Cancer Institute. There will be opportunity for scholarly activities. Compensation will be based on AAPM bench marks, clinical and academic experience.
