The Department of Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School is seeking full time Non-Invasive Cardiologists with interest and expertise in Structural Echocardiography to join the Division of Cardiovascular Disease and Hypertension. The Structural Heart program operates in conjunction with our medical center (Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital) and the RWJBarnabas Health System. Academic rank and track are dependent on qualifications. The affiliation of Rutgers Health and RWJ/Barnabas Health, the largest health system in NJ, presents exciting opportunities for growth and regional expansion. The integrated health system (RWJBarnabas) is a $5 billion enterprise and cares for about 40% of all NJ residents.
Requirements
- Accredited Cardiology fellowship training with board certification in Cardiovascular Diseases and Echocardiography
- Additional training in Structural Imaging would be beneficial
- Clinical excellence in General Cardiology with teaching and research interests
- Excellent communication and inter-professional team skills
- Active NJ medical license and/or eligibility to obtain a NJ medical license with a CDS and an active DEA license
