The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Department of Medicine, Division of Nephrology is seeking highly motivated applicants with well-documented expertise in clinical research to join a growing and dynamic team of faculty in the College of Medicine devoted to improvement of outcomes for patients with kidney disease. This is a full-time, non-tenure track position. The position requires a strong interest and research track record in one or more of the following focus areas: Clinical Outcomes Research, Comparative Effectiveness, Health Information Technology.
Successful candidates will hold an MD, PhD, or relevant doctoral degree, have demonstrated scientific expertise, an ability to acquire external, investigator-initiated funding, a commitment to excellence in teaching, and excellent oral and written communication skills. Candidates with an MD degree and with clinical experience will be preferable.
