Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth) seeks an experienced electrophysiologist to lead the growing EP Program at Good Samaritan Hospital, in Suffern, NY. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of post-training EP experience and demonstrated leadership qualities. Board certification in Cardiac Electrophysiology and proficiency in catheter ablation of SVT, AF, and VT, and implantation of the full spectrum of CIEDs are required. The desirable candidate will be a self-starter who is able to work and lead in a collaborative team environment and possesses excellent interpersonal skills. Clinical time will also be spent at the 895-bed Westchester Medical Center (WMC) in Valhalla, NY on a rotating basis, to join the other five EP physicians that make up the WMC Health Network Electrophysiology service. Community Information Good Samaritan Hospital, a member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network, in Suffern, New York, is a 286-bed hospital providing emergency, medical, surgical, obstetrical/gynecological and acute care services to residents of Rockland and southern Orange Counties in New York and northern Bergen County, New Jersey. The hospital is home to a recognized cardiovascular program with cardiac surgery and advanced heart failure services, and has a state-of-the-art electrophysiology laboratory, with excellent support staff. Outpatient setting includes the main hospital-based clinic and satellite clinics. Suffern, NY is a suburb located approximately 25 miles from Manhattan.
