A multi-specialty clinic based in Illinois is seeking an urgent care physician who can provide locum tenens coverage for approximately seven months beginning in early June with a high chance of extension. On a typical day, the locum tenens physician can expect to see patients for a variety of cases: Lac repairs, I & D's, destruction of lesions, closed reductions (limited), possible splint applications (limited) plus occasional toenail removal, EKG/x-ray initial interpretation, foreign body removal and simple Epistasis mgt. The provider will work anywhere from 5, 6, 8, to 10 hour shifts based on what is available by the department and what the locum will agree to pick up. This facility uses Epic EMR and will provide training.
