A mental health facility in Connecticut is looking for a psychiatrist who can provide locum tenens coverage for approximately two months beginning in late July with a high chance of extension. On a typical day, the provider can expect to see between twenty-four and thirty patients per week aged 13+ for a variety of cases: Residential treatment. Cases will be depression, bi-polar, severe anxiety, some psychotics and troubled kids with rough home-lives. Plus follow ups and initial psych evaluations, phone calls to parents. The schedule will be Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. plus call. This facility uses Sigmund EMR.
