Excellent opportunity for well qualified Critical Care physician to join a well-established pulmonary /critical care medicine practice in Southern California. Board certification or eligibility in critical care medicine is required. This position entails providing inpatient care to patients with pulmonary or critical illness, with a heavy emphasis on critical care. Our main hospital is a level II trauma center with active programs in heart transplant, mechanical assist device/advance heart failure management, neurocritical care, and general medical ICU care. Competency with critical care procedures including but not limited to intubation, central venous catheter placement, bronchoscopies required. Some night shifts in hospital are required but will be shared equally with other full-time physicians in the group.
