Baystate Health is seeking a BC/BE Neurologist with expertise in Movement Disorders to join Baystate Health’s Department of Neurosciences and Rehabilitation at our main academic hospital in Western MA.

Position Highlights

• A TALENTED TEAM. 56 Neuroscience and Rehabilitation physicians and advanced practice clinicians who practice in a robust and state-of-the-art medicine with commitment to the highest quality patient care.

• GROWING PROGRAM. The only Movement Program in Western MA with unlimited growth potential, ability to work in DBS Program, protected time for admin duties, functional neurosurgery on site, newly opened Neuro Critical Care Unit. Level III Epilepsy Center with plans to build a dedicated epilepsy monitoring unit, and expansion of our neurosurgical services. Primary Stroke Center working towards Comprehensive Stroke Designation. General Neurology team and Stroke team in place.

• SUPPORT AND COLLABORATION. Share called with large general group, Call is 1:10, no stroke call, strong mentorship available, a collegial team, and the ability to participate in the education of medical students, NP and PA students.


Located in Springfield, MA, Baystate Medical Center (BMC) is Baystate Health’s flagship hospital. BMC is a 716-bed, independent academic medical center and a training site for the University of Massachusetts Medical School - Baystate.
