The Massachusetts General Hospital Cardiology Division and the Corrigan Minehan Heart Center are seeking non-invasive staff cardiologists to join the Division's expanding academic group practice. It is anticipated that the academic appointment ranking will be at the Instructor or Assistant Professor level based on qualifications and experience.
The position will serve primarily in a clinical role with active involvement in both outpatient and inpatient evaluation and management activities. While the candidate is expected to serve as a general cardiologist, he or she will be encouraged to integrate or develop areas of expertise among the various sub-specialties in cardiology.
It is expected that the candidate will develop both an institutional and regional consultative referral practice. As a member of the Cardiology Division, the selected candidate will also be expected to contribute to the educational mission of the Division and assume teaching responsibilities for cardiology fellows and medical residents. Opportunities exist for the selected candidate to also participate in the clinical research activities of the Division.
We invite highly qualified BE/BC candidates who are committed to excellence in patient care and possess strong clinical skills to apply. Candidates completing cardiology fellowships in June 2019 are encouraged to apply. The review process is ongoing.
We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
