Baystate Health, home of the University of Massachusetts Medical School-Baystate, is seeking a BC/BE Physiatrist to join our regionally recognized team of 6 Physiatrist and 3 APP’s at Baystate Medical Center in Western MA. This is an incredible opportunity to join an established team of 42 Neuroscience and Rehabilitation physicians and advanced practice clinicians who practice in a robust and state-of-the-art medicine with commitment to the highest quality patient care. The talented and collegial group of physicians and support staff provide high quality team-based care in a multi-specialty site practice setting as well as at our academic medical center.
Position Highlights –
• WELL ESTABLISHED PROGRAM. Highly stimulating and well-established practice which sees a WIDE VARIETY of patients with the opportunity to provide care for musculoskeletal conditions, neurological disorders including spinal cord injury, stroke, concussion, traumatic brain injury and sports injuries.
• SUPPORT AND COLLABORATION. A cohesive group with strong mentorship available, and the ability to participate in the education of medical students and NP/PA students, if interested.
• WORK LIFE BALANCE. A mix of outpatient and acute hospital inpatient consults, and can also do EMG. Attractive schedule with benign call.
• COMPETITIVE COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS.
Qualifications: Applicants must be ABMS BC/BE in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Newly trained candidates accepted. Excellent organizational, communication and team skills are essential, with a strong commitment to quality, safety and patient centered care.
