Academic Gastroenterologist

Academic Gastroenterologist – The Syracuse VA Medical Center (VAMC) is seeking a full-time general gastroenterology physician for its state-of-the-art gastroenterology suite. The Syracuse VA is an active teaching hospital affiliated with, and physically adjacent to the State University of New York (SUNY) Upstate Medical University (UMU). The successful candidate is expected to provide the full compliment of gastroenterology care and must be eligible for an academic appointment at SUNY UMU. Applicants must be BC in both Internal Medicine and BC/BE in Gastroenterology and must possess a current and unrestricted license in any state. Research opportunities are available and encouraged. The VA offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience using VA’s market-based physician pay system, and a comprehensive Federal benefits package which may include entitlement to apply for the Education Debt Reduction Program pending availability of funds.
