A hospital in North Carolina needs an anesthesiologist who is able to provide eight days of locum tenens coverage. This is a general anesthesiology position where the locum will be responsible for provide anesthesia for general surgery procedures and OB/GYN needs in addition to supervising CRNAs at the facility. The locum will not be responsible for any cardiac or major cases. This position will have the locum providing 8 hours of in-house coverage with the physician being on call for the rest of the day. On a typical day the locum can expect to see 5 - 6 procedures with low call volume. Meditech is the EMR used at this facility.
