A mental health facility in Wyoming is looking for a hospitalist who can provide locum tenens coverage for approximately two months starting in mid-September with a high chance of extension. On a typical day, the provider can expect to see between ten and twelve adult patients plus one to two admits with some rounding on general primary care, OB/GYN, occ med, pediatric procedures plus pediatrics. Candidates will perform vent management, central lines and intubation plus must be comfortable with codes. The schedule will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., then the locum will be on call from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m (1-3 calls per night). The client requires that the provider will work ten shifts per month. This facility uses HMS EMR and will provide paid training.
