A mental health clinic in Connecticut is seeking a child and adolescent psychiatrist who can provide locum tenens coverage for approximately two months beginning late March with a possible extension. As a medical director, the provider will see twelve patients per week between the ages 13 and 20 and is required to complete administrative duties as needed. Our client is also willing to take a staff MD who is expected to see between 24 to 20 patients per week for depression, bi-polar, severe anxiety and some psychotics kids with rough home-lives. The locum will work from Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. plus 1:2 weekday call and 1:3 weekend call. The facility uses the Sigmund EMR.
