Job Details
Western Kentucky hospital is seeking a General Surgeon
- This is to replace the current surgeon that retired in May 2015
- Work at a 25-bed community access hospital
- This is an employed opportunity
- $400K base salary plusRVU productivity
- To do bread & butter General Surgery cases and scopes
- Excellent primary care physician group of 18 to serve as a referral base
- This is primarily an outpatient practice with limited call expectations
- They do have a Hospitalist program available to assist with call coverage
- Current surgeon was doing 45 cases/month-this can be dramatically increased
- ER 24/7 coverage
- Located in western Kentucky
- 24,000 population
- Very affordable homes
