Job Details

Required Qualifications:

MD or equivalent. Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Board Certified/Eligible in Gastroenterology. Experience in clinical care and teaching on the inpatient GI consult service including liver, biliary, and general GI cases. Skilled in a variety of endoscopic procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in clinical research with a focus on small bowel disease and/or GI motility disorders.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

Gastroenterologist with a strong clinical background to assume patient care and teaching of fellows, residents and medical students in both outpatient and inpatient setting. 

To qualify for a senior faculty appointment, the candidate must meet the criteria established by the School of Medicine (School of Medicine's Criteria for Appointment, Promotion and Tenure).

Special Notes:

This is a non-tenure track position.  FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. Anticipated Start Date: 7/1/19.
