JOB TITLE: Director of General Obstetrics and Gynecology

Geisinger Women & Children's Institute is seeking a board-certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist to serve as Director of General Obstetrics and Gynecology for our central region which includes two Labor & Delivery units, multiple inpatient and outpatient surgery locations and several clinics located in Danville and surrounding areas. This large central team consists of multiple Physicians, Midwives, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants. In addition, the Director will work collaboratively with Women's Health Subspecialists. The successful candidate will report to the Chair of Women & Children's Institute and must demonstrate at least 3-5 years of proven leadership experience preferably in an integrated health care organization. Record of accomplishment should include clinical excellence, process improvement, program development, recruitment and innovation, as well as medical student and resident education. Geisinger Women's Health includes an ACGME accredited OB/GYN residency program as well as a Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship. Northeast Pennsylvania
