A clinic based in Virginia is in need of a pain management physician who is able to provide locum tenens coverage. The locum tenens physician can pick any five shifts between late June and early July with a possible extension. On the job, the provider can expect to see between fifteen and twenty adult patients per day for a variety of cases: Full Interventional Pain Management including all spine injections (cervical, thoracic, lumbar), epidurals, facets, MBB, SIJ, Joint injections, Radiofrequency nerve ablation, trigger point injections, opioid medication management, pumps and nerve blocks. The locum tenens physician will work Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. This facility uses Centricity EMR and will provide paid training. Candidates must be able to perform all IPM procedures. No case logs are required, but the provider must have recent work experience in this setting.
