A multi-specialty clinic in Illinois is seeking a family practice physician who can provide locum tenens coverage for approximately three months beginning in early June with a high chance of extension. On a typical day, the provider can expect to see between eighteen and twenty adult, geriatric and pediatric patients for a variety of cases: Suturing, basic wound care and debridement, foreign body removals and oversight of basic nursing procedures (ear wash, casting, nebulizer, etc.). The locum tenens physician will work forty hours a week, but flexible weekday scheduling with some Saturday morning hours from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. The locum will be on 1:5 weekend and weeknight call. This facility uses Epic EMR and will provide paid training.
