New London Hospital, a Dartmouth-Hitchcock affiliate hospital is currently recruiting a Full-Time Family Physician to join its multi-specialty, integrated primary care practice Newport Health Center in Newport, NH. The ideal candidate will be BC/BE in Family Medicine and be comfortable providing acute and preventive outpatient care and chronic disease management for patients of all ages.

With the closing of Newport Hospital in 1991, New London Hospital recognized the need for continuing primary care and ancillary services to Newport residents and opened the Newport Health Center. The Newport Health Center is an ongoing commitment by the Board of Trustees of New London Hospital to the Newport community. The center offers primary care, pediatrics, gynecology, podiatry, occupational health, laboratory, x-ray, mammography, and rehabilitative services. The center has evening hours, new patient care areas, and all physical therapy and rehab services in one location. The Newport Health Center offers convenient evening hours as well as same day appointments.
