The Duke University Eye Center is accepting applications for a highly qualified, full-time, oculoplastic specialist in its new, state of the art clinic in Holly Springs, NC. Candidates must have successfully completed a fully accredited ophthalmology residency training program and a fellowship in oculoplastics and be American Board of Ophthalmology certified or eligible. ASOPRS and/or ACGME certified fellowship preferred. Post-fellowship work experience is preferred but not required.
This position requires excellent clinical and surgical skills, a dedication to academics and commitment to teamwork and professional growth. The faculty member will be expected to engage in teaching of oculoplastics fellows and ophthalmology residents as well as research activities.
A team-oriented attitude and excellent clinical skills are required, and teaching acumen is desirable. This position will be primarily oculoplastics, but duties will also include some comprehensive care and emergency room coverage.
