Duke Neurosurgery is seeking clinical investigators with a strong background in laboratory-based research and experience in clinical investigation. Candidates should be interested in conducting pre-clinical studies, either in their own laboratory or jointly with other laboratory-based investigators. Applicants should have an MD or MD/PhD degree and completed a residency and fellowship in Pediatric Neurosurgery. Clinical care responsibility will be limited to allow substantial effort in research. Start-up packages to support both clinical and wet or dry laboratory efforts will be provided.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, a passion for teaching, and a demonstrated record of scholarly contribution.
